Kahru is back with their new Shinrin Yoku Pack of Fusion 2.0. This pack focus’ on the Japanese idea of Shinrin Yoku or “Forest Bathing” which is regenerative process of spending time in nature and taking in your surroundings. The two new colorways are inspired by this philosophy invoking imagery of trees, leaves, roots, berries, herbs and etc. As part of this awareness to nature, Karhu has also reconstructed their midsole with a low waste cork as well as partnered with German non-profit org, PLANT-MY-TREE.
In 1996, the Fusion was the top running shoe in the assortment and to bring it back from the archives Karhu worked with the original designer. The sole unit and upper measurements were revised to make the silhouette more appealing. But, the original details like the tongue label and the rubberized collar print are kept.
